Nawaz Sharif on Monday said his government would establish friendly ties with India, adding that he would invite Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his oath-taking ceremony to Islamabad.
Speaking to foreign correspondents at his Raiwind residence, Sharif called upon Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf to respect the mandate of the people and accept the results of the elections.
He further said that his government would devise a national policy to tackle the problem of terrorism. Referring to the attack on PML-N leader Sanaullah Zehri in Balochistan, Sharif said it was not fair to say that terrorism had not affected PML-N.
We will contact every party for the purpose of forming our policy on terrorism, Sharif said, adding that the PML-N government would respect the mandate given to parties by the people from the areas where they have won.
He moreover said that economic revival was the PML-N’s top priority.
On a question pertaining to US drone attacks in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal areas, Sharif said his government would try to convince America to stop those. He said his government will help US forces withdrawing from Afghanistan.
He further said that the PML-N government in its first 100 days would come out with policies on all major issues confronting Pakistan, such as terrorism, the economy etcetera.
Sharif said Pakistan will become the Asian tiger in his government.
Elections were not fair as Nawaz Sharif and his brother claims. They are rigged in many areas at Polling stations EC staff was casting votes for their friends. As far as PTI is concerned their Leader Imran Khan has never been on sale A man of principle and honesty is known to all Pakistanis around the world. He can never be bought with sweet words of Nawaz Sharif. PTI looks like a party of future of Pakistan with honest members and also with a plan which will help Pakistanis within and outside Pakistan. There were large scale riggings in elections and it must be addressed by the EC and SC

There has been very selective tempering with the results both by MQM and PML(N).
Both parties would have won any way but panicked a bit and over egged results on a few seats.
Very appreciable and friendly response showed by Mian Nawaz Sharif.These positive steps will enhance solidarity and sense of consantrarion and focusing for the re-habilitation o and normalcy of relationship between Pakistan and India.we being the general public of Lahore and particularly Pakistani People appreciate and welcone this decision.

There is nothing preventing Pakistan to be the fist one but you don't have to go head over heals to do this.
Democratic decision as are arrived at through a certain process and you need not come across besotted in love for INDIA. This clearly shows a lack of wisdom. Because of the sensitive nature of Pakistan’s relationship with India the matter should have been discussed at length before making it public. Don’t repeat your mistakes; only fools do.
This is the first of many mistakes that the incumbent PM will make before his departure.
