Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Ajaz Chaudhry has directed the authorities for ensuring cleanliness at all places related to food.
A government official said that the CS instructed for the maintenance of proper cleanliness at slaughter houses, vegetable and milk markets.
He said that the CS took a serious view of the reports that appeared in a section of the press in this regard.
Moreover, Chaudhry asked the secretaries of Agriculture and Local Government Departments to ensure that proper cleanliness arrangements were also made at public places and that the problems of sewerage of such places should also be resolved.
