Senior Vice President of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) Sajid Tareen on Sunday alleged that his party has been punished in the elections for its bold stance on rights of the Baloch.
Addressing a press conference along with PB-4 candidate Akhtar Hussain Langov, Tareen said his party would not accept the election results and knock the doors of the courts.
He said the party faced challenges from two fronts, those who have taken up arms to get their rights and the nationalist parties who had identical ideology with the establishment. He said they had been saying that the establishment wanted to keep its control on Balochistan through fake leadership.
Tareen said that their polling office was attacked in Shabo on Saturday. He claimed that despite a lead of 3,000 votes, the result was not being announced.
