The Religious Affairs Ministry on Monday inaugurated the Hajj Computer Center for facilitating Hajj pilgrims, as 179,210 Pakistanis would be performing Hajj this year, of which 50 percent would be from the government scheme and the rest under the private scheme.
Applications are received and managed by the Hajj Computer Center, equipped with modern technology and professional human resources.
A Religious Ministry official said that adding applicants are kept informed about their application’s status through letters and regular website updates. After the verification of passports and photographs, the center places this information on the Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministry’s website for generating E-numbers.
The center pastes E-number stickers onto passports and verifies according to the lists.
The official said that 3,000 to 5,000 passports are sent to the Saudi Embassy for Hajj visas every year. These passports are returned the next day and then sent to the Hajis via their respective Haji camps.
The Hajj Computer Center also ensures travel and living arrangements, and
applicants are informed in this regard through letters and the ministry’s website, he added.
For God sake, please reduce the Hajj Charges. Poor public cannot ford. in future, only rich men will perform Hajj. Who will answer about the Hajj of poor people before God.
Time has come to end but still applicants did not receiving any information letter from authority about their future programme and about visa, flight and next movement time table. Kindly issue this as soon as possible as peoples are getting upset, Thanks
