The Pakistan Science Club (PSC) and Technology Times would soon launch Pakistan’s first science and technology educational web television channel (techtv.pk).
The channel will cover all scientific and technological events and educational activities in Pakistan.
TechTV would offer free online courses in web application development, project management and other science and technology topics, said President PSC Abdul Rauf.
Our main objective is to promote scientific research and the youth’s interest in science, technology and mathematics. The channel would popularize science for laymen and students, seeking to cultivate the spirit of scientific inquiry and the love of learning in its audience, he added.
Rauf stated that the channel will use interactive and innovative programs for this purpose. It will complement formal education try to inspire the youth to pursue careers in science.
