Muhammad Yusuf Awan was on Friday appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (IESCO), following former CEO Javed Pervez’s retirement.
Earlier, the IESCO Board of Directors (BoD) had issued a summary pertaining to Awan’s appointment according to the Prime Minister Secretariat’s directives which dictate that IESCO’s senior most officer should be considered for CEO.
Awan was previously employed as the IESCO development general manager.
