Hundreds of teachers working in different public institutes under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) as well as volunteers are ready to perform election duties at different polling stations in the capital. The FDE has engaged all the teachers to perform their duties at polling stations on the elections day to play their role in this historical event. Shagufta Nauman, a teacher at a local college said, “I will perform duty in my college in F-6/2 to facilitate the polling process on the elections day. It is the duty of every citizen to cast vote to the political party of his or her choice to bring a positive change in the country.”
“It is our national obligation to facilitate the polling process at polling stations as we have been doing in the past,” she said. Another teacher, Mazhar Nisar said, “This is not a new thing for us to perform at polling station during elections as we have performed election duty earlier too.”
