265 of 4,343 polling stations in Rawalpindi have been declared sensitive.
40,380 officials would be deployed on the polling stations to facilitate 5,384,238 voters. A control room placed under Additional Commissioner Zulfikar Ahmed has been formed in the commissioner’s office for polling monitoring.
According to statistics, male voters in the division total 2,896,067 while there are 2,488,000 female voters. In Rawalpindi district, male voters total 1,425,645, female voters total 1,219,658. 1,142 polling stations are for males, 1,104 for females and 2,097 are for both.
