The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Rana Mashhood survived an attack on his life after unknown miscreants attacked his electioneering convoy late Wednesday night.
According to police, unknown miscreants threw stone at the vehicle of Rana Mashhood due to which he applied brakes to stop the vehicle. As soon the car came to screeching halt, armed men sprayed bullets at the vehicle and fled the scene.
As a result of firing, a party activist sustained minor injuries while Rana Mashhood escaped unhurt.
Rana Mashhood is running for a Punjab Assembly seat in the May 11 general elections.
