Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s doctor Faisal Sultan on Thursday said Khan will not be allowed to cast his vote in Mianwali owing to health concerns.
Speaking to media personnel, Dr Sultan said it was not possible to discharge Khan from the hospital before May 11. He added that Khan’s MRI will be conducted on Friday following which a decision on whether to discharge him will be taken.
Khan is scheduled to address his party’s last election rally in Islamabad via a video link from his room at Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital.
Doctors treating the PTI chief have allowed him restricted movements only, and it is not possible for Khan to be present at the rally venue for the address.
