Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhrudin G Ibrahim has expressed dissatisfaction on the current security plan for the upcoming general elections on May 11 and termed it insufficient.
In a letter to Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, CEC Fakhrudin G Ibrahim urged for deployment of army personnel at most sensitive polling stations.
The letter further said that for free, fair and transparent elections, the commission and army had to endeavor jointly to ensure security by deploying army at most sensitive polling stations.
