Two MQM activists shot dead in Hyderabad


At least two activists of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) were killed and six others injured in an overnight attack on the party’s election office in Hyderabad.

According to details, six unidentified motorcyclists sprayed bullets at election office of MQM established in Liberty Chowk of Hyderabad and fled from the scene.

Azam Qureshi and Aslam alias Alam Dada were killed on the spot while six others including two party workers Shoaib and Fayyaz were injured.

The injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal requirements and according to the hospital sources their condition was stable.

The firing incident and dual murder spurred tension and uncertainty in the area.

The MQM chief Altaf Hussain, condemning the incident, maintained that criminal elements are involved in the gory assault
