`Heydar Aliyev Corners’ to be established in universities

The universities associated with Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS) will have “Heydar Aliyev Corners” named after Azerbaijan’s national leader according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) singed on Wednesday between the Azerbaijan Embassy and IUCPSS.

The corners will pay homage to visionary leadership in different member institutions of IUCPSS-an alliance of 12 Pakistani universities for promoting educational fellowships and cultural linkages between the universities of both countries.

The ceremony celebrated Heydar Aliyev’s 90th anniversary and was organized by IUCPSS and The Diplomatic Insight at the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Chairperson HEC Dr. Javaid R. Laghari appreciated the initiative and assured HEC’s support in making the endeavour successful.
