The campaign for the general elections will come to an end at the midnight of Thursday and Friday.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) told APP on Wednesday that the election campaign through electronic and print media, and public meetings would end at midnight.
Any violation of the deadline will warrant disqualification, fine up to Rs 100,000 or withholding of results by the returning officers.
It may be mentioned that various political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI), Jamaat-e-Islami and Awami National Party suspended all their election related activities on Wednesday to express solidarity with Imran Khan.
Imran Khan was critically injured after falling from a makeshift lift at a Lahore rally on Tuesday.
Polling will be held on Saturday from 8am to 5pm without any break.
Meanwhile, ballot papers were delivered to all returning officers on Wednesday for distribution among presiding officers on Friday.
Special security measures were adopted for the dispatch of ballot papers and their collection.
