Nilore police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested three men allegedly involved in murdering two people in Tumair.
According to a police spokesman, Muhammad Rafique and Muhammad Younus were murdered while Israr and Safeer suffered injuries, following which a case (27/13) was filed on March 1 under Sections 302, 324, 148/149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
The police successfully arrested three suspects, including Muhammad Irfan s/o Muhammad Khan from Sargodha, who confessed his crime during the initial investigation and revealed the whereabouts of his two absconding accomplices.
Following this lead, the police conducted a raid in Peshawar and arrested Aziz-ur-Rehman s/o Muhammad Khan and Faisal Yaqoob s/o Muhammad Yaqoob as well.
