The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) against the delimitation of constituencies in Karachi.
Hearing the petition, the SHC bench ruled that it could not interfere in the Supreme Court’s decision. While hearing the Karachi law and order case, the SC had ordered the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the delimitation of constituencies in the city.
The PPP had also moved a petition against the delimitation.
In its order, the Sindh High Court said the petitioners could approach the SC or the relevant tribunal.
