Railway track blown up in Quetta

Unidentified men on Monday blew up a portion of railway track in Sariab area of the provincial capital, disconnecting the rail link of Quetta with other parts of the country.
Police said unidentified men planted an improvised explosive device with the track in Musa Colony Sariab area and detonated it.
“As a result of explosion, a portion of railway track was damaged,” police said, adding that the blast caused suspension of railway traffic from and to Quetta. No loss of life was reported.
The Pakistan Railways’ officials said that technical teams had reached the scene and were repairing the track.
The law enforcers cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
