Campaigning peaks in all quarters of the city as May 11 draws near.
Political banners, posters and flags adorn all public places, and election camps are thronged by supporters and party-workers chanting slogans late into the night.
The city’s youth traipse through the streets flaunting different political emblems on their motorcycles and vehicles, while door-to-door campaigns are being run to highly each party’s manifesto and recruit voters for their candidates.
A resident of G-7 Azmat Ali predicted a tough contest for both NA-48 and NA-49 as all the candidates are campaigning vigorously. Another citizen Najam ul Hasan said that the four days remaining are crucial for the candidates to win political support.
