The Ministry of National Heritage and Integration Pakistan National Council of the Arts conducted a children’s puppet show covering social responsibility themes on Sunday.
Regularly hosted by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), the puppet programme showcases themes like the environment, education, health through folk tales, skits, songs, dances to raise awareness amongst children in a light and engaging way.
Children from different institutions were enthralled by colourful puppets animatedly conveying concerns about rising pollution and the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
The Puppet Performers Incharge Zulfiqar Ahmad who got puppetry training from China said,”this show is a regular feature of PNCA’s activities for entertaining children constructively. These shows are an effort to explain socio-cultural issues and to nurture social responsibility in our children”
