Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said his party would have zero tolerance against corruption, favouritism and injustice in the society once it came into power through the people’s support.

Promising massive reforms while addressing a mammoth rally in Mansehra,

Imran said he would bring reforms in police, local govt and revenue departments for solving day-to-day problems of the common man.

The PTI chief said he believed in uniformed service of the people irrespective of caste or creed and that was why people from all walks of life were joining the party.

He said the PTI would transfer power to the grass-roots level and would conduct local bodies’ election within 90 days after formation of government.

Imran said this would enable the people to decide themselves about developmental projects and other necessities of life in their villages and union councils.

He vowed that the PTI power would leave no stone unturned to restore honour and respect of Pakistanis across the globe and he would endeavour to make Pakistan a progressive democratic Muslim welfare state where people could get all basic amenities of life at their doorsteps and people would not have to go abroad for jobs.

He said if the PTI was elected to power, it would ensure a comprehensive system where no one would be allowed to commit injustice, discrimination and inequality with anyone.

Imran said education would be the top priority of the PTI government and its funds would be increased manifolds in the budget to provide uniformed education services to children. Focus would be made on vocational training and technical education as well, he added.

He said education was the key to success and “we can move on road to progress and development only by including education in our top priority list”.

Imran Khan said a uniform curriculum would be introduced for the rich and the poor in the country and education opportunities would be ensured to all so that dreams of students of low income groups wishing to become doctors, engineers and scientists could be fulfilled.

He said just like he had proved true his wish of becoming the world’s best all-rounder and making Pakistani cricket team world champions, he would prove his dream true with the peoples’ support to make Pakistan an economic power.

He said the establishment of peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA was one of his top priority and reiterated his strong resolve to restore peace in the restive areas of KP and FATA if he came to power.

Imran said the people of KP and FATA had rendered matchless sacrifices for the country and his party would give top attention to establishing durable peace in the regions.

Reiterating his promise made to the youth, Imran said over 25 percent tickets were awarded to youth under the age of 35, “because youth are the real strength of the party and want to make a New Pakistan”.

Imran said the PTI was the only democratic party of the country which held intra-party elections and it had the solution for all miseries of the country, whereas the rest of the parties were dynastic and family-limited parties, which never conducted intra-party elections and were responsible for the problems the nation was facing today.

He said members would elect PTI leaders and youth was being encouraged to ensure new political leadership emerged from among them.

Imran said the PTI was well aware of how to improve the health and education system, besides addressing the inherited challenges and people would see very positive changes.

He added that the PTI knew how to break the partnership of PPP, PML-N, claiming that the time of his rivals who had been ruling this country since long, had ended.

Imran said with the support of the people and youth, the PTI was set to sweep the forthcoming polls and May 11 night would be a night of celebration.
