The district government of Rawalpindi has approved redesigning of the road that leads to the Food Park.
The district administration has removed encroachments from the Food Street and now a three-member committee consisting of Parks and Horticulture Authority chairman Capt (r) Mushtaq Ahmad, Rawal Town Administrator Saif Anwar Jappa and Cantt Assistant Commissioner Zahid Sohail has devised a plan to facilitate the Food Park visitors by expanding the parking space and expanding the road that leads to the park.
Rawalpindi District Coordination Officer Rashid Mehmood Langrial has given one month’s time to district sports office to shift their workplace to the stadium so that more space could be allocated for the park.
