Cellular services will not be suspended across the country on the day of general elections, a private TV channel reported.
Earlier, there had been fears that mobile services would be suspended for security purposes on May 11. It is pertinent to mention that the law and order situation in the country has deteriorated as the election date draws closer.
The former government had, on many occasions, suspended cellular services citing security fears.
