The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday released figures regarding the establishment of 69,875 polling stations in the country of which 12,716 have been declared highly sensitive and 19,644 are sensitive.
PUNJAB:
In Punjab, 40,078 polling stations will be set up, of which 4,463 are highly sensitive and 8,439 are sensitive.
SINDH:
In Sindh, 4,176 polling stations are highly sensitive and 5436 are sensitive, with a total of 15,000.
KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA:
The ECP has established 9,300 polling stations out of which 2,142 have been deemed highly sensitive and 3, 453 are sensitive.
BALOCHISTAN:
Out of 3,678 established polling stations, 1,783 are highly sensitive and 1,235 are sensitive.
FATA:
In the Tribal Areas, 1, 269 polling stations will be set up, of which 1, 117 have been declared highly sensitive and 134 are sensitive.
ISLAMABAD:
In the federal capital, out of a total of 550, 18 polling stations are highly sensitive and 12 are sensitive.
Seven security personnel will be deployed at highly sensitive polling stations, five at sensitive and four at the others.
