A Pakistan Navy (PN) sailor was shot and killed in Kharadar area of the metropolis earlier on Wednesday.
According to police, PN sailor Zahid Iqbal was targeted when he was standing beside a cobbler near Edhi head office.
It merits mentio here that Zahid Iqbal is the second staffer of PN killed this year. Earlier, Lt Commander Azeem of PN was also shot at and wounded near Karachi Port in February. He later succumbed to his injury after remaining in coma for a couple of days.
