The Islamabad High Court Tuesday has summoned Secretary Defence Lt Gen (r) Asif Yasin Malik to appear tomorrow and explain why Amir Ahmed had not yet been recovered.
The single-member bench, comprising of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, issued the directive while hearing Rashida Amir’s petition filed for her husband’s recovery. The counsel for the petitioner informed the count that Ahmed was missing for the last three years from Rahim Yar Khan. He prayed that authorities concerned be directed to recover Rashida’s husband as soon as possible.
