The Civil Lines Police arrested two people in connection with jubilant firing and setting off fireworks at a wedding on Tuesday.
The area police raided a wedding ceremony and arrested Shehzad and Mehtab for resorting to aerial firing. The police also seized fireworks from their possession and registered a case against them for violating the law.
Separately, the city police apprehended 10 outlaws and recovered 480 grams of hashish, a 30-bore pistol and fireworks.
