PML-N hand in glove with Taliban: Wattoo

Punjab PPP President Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has said the silence of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif over the terrorist attacks on the PPP, ANP, and MQM shows that they are hand in glove with the Taliban.
He said the people would not let the terrorists and their sponsors to hijack the country, come what may. They would reject the terrorists and their supporters on May 11.
He said it is regretful and condemnable that Nawaz was apparently endorsing the genocide of PPP, ANP and MQM workers, adding that the PML-N president had not uttered a single word to condemn these attacks.
He said that it seemed that the PML-N leadership was hand in glove with the terrorists and wanted to come to power by using the Taliban. The PML-N president’s democratic credentials have been exposed as he could go to any extent to enter the corridors of power, he observed.
He said the PML-N would be squarely marginalised politically by the people as they had come to know that supporting the PML-N amounted to supporting terrorism and extremism.
The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has been targeting PPP, ANP and MQM because they were coalition partners in the former government, which fought against terrorism and extremism and the Pakistan Army launched several successful operations under their watch.
He disclosed that the terrorists had decided not to let PPP, ANP and MQM come to power again because their coming to the power would lead to further intensification of war on terror.
Wattoo said the lines have been clearly drawn between the pro-TTP and the anti-TTP parties and the people would definitely go for those who were striving to build Pakistan envisaged by the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He said that the PPP would never tolerate terrorism, because its perpetrators had killed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
He praised the PPP, ANP and MQM leadership for holding a joint press conference to express their firm resolve to contest elections at all costs.
