PPP offer to make Imran Khan PM in the coalition government

As the May 11 election date approaches, all political leaders are preparing for what seems to be one of the most important elections in the history of the country.

Most of the hype however surrounds Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) and whether his party will as he claims ‘sweep’ the elections.

A prominent leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has predicted however that there can be no party with a simple majority in these elections and there will be a ‘hung parliament.

Whilst talking to a daily English newspaper, Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo president of the PPP’s Punjab chapter stated that his party was willing to offer Imran Khan the office of prime minister in the coalition government.

Wattoo stated that if the PTI play their cards right, they could secure more seats in Punjab than the PML-N in coalition with his party.

Wattoo stated that his party would welcome the PTI in the coalition government if the PPP gain majority in the centre.
