The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Monday sent a summary to the Petroleum Ministry seeking a decrease in the prices of petroleum products.
If the summary is approved, the prices of petroleum products will be slashed on May 1.
According to details, the price of petrol will be decreased by Rs 6.52, diesel by Rs 4.78, kerosene oil by Rs 5.16 and light diesel by Rs 4.30 per litre.
The summary will then be forwarded by the Petroleum Ministry to the Finance Ministry.
