Consul General of Denmark in Karachi Naheed Irshaduddin has been conferred with a Danish award for her contributions towards fostering ties between Denmark and Pakistan.
The Order of the Knight of Dannebrog award was given by the Ambassador of Denmark in Pakistan Ole E Moesby at a local hotel on Saturday evening.
The envoy said that the award had been given in view of Naheed’s excellent contributions for developing a cordial relationship between the two countries.
It merits mention here that Naheed had been serving as the Honorary Consul General of Denmark in Karachi for the past 19 years.
