As the elections approach, the trend started by the PTI of involving prominent musicians for party anthems is being adopted by other parties as well.
The ‘one-pound fish man’ Shahid Nazir has stated that he will be releasing his anthem for the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in one week.
The song will be titled Qadam barhao Nawaz Sharif, hum tumharay saath hain (forge ahead Nawaz Sharif, we are with you).
Nazir stated that the song would focus on the positive aspects of Nawaz Sharif and the main locations used for the video of the song were Minar-e-Pakistan, PML-N secretariat and the Metro Bus system.
PML-N’s electronic media cell spokesman Faraz Tajammul stated that music wise the party would have two songs, one by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the other by Nazir.

I dont believe this news. I remember Rahat Fateh Ali Khan singing a song for PTI, and the news that the one pound fish guy is going to advertise for PMLN is something that I have been hearing for so long but it still hasnt happened.
