Abdul Qadir Gilani’s guards torture PML-N workers

Abdul Qadir Gilani’s security guards on Saturday allegedly tortured Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers over a dispute while police also recovered a 9mm pistol from the former premier’s son’s vehicle.
According to police, the pistol was recovered allegedly from a Land Cruiser owned by Gilani, during checking. The driver and Gilani’s secretary were present at the time of the search, both of whom were detained.
The former prime minister’s son is Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) candidate from NA-151.
Meanwhile, security guards and workers of Abdul Qadir Gilani resorted to aerial firing and tortured PML-N supporters over a dispute on removing party flag.
Following the incident residents of the area staged a protest against the Gilani family for alleged torture and blocked Band Bosan Chowk in Multan.
Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Local people demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take action against people involved in aerial firing.
