Former Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday lashed out at Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and their campaign commercials, saying that the contents of the campaign advertisements were a lie and must be condemned.
Addressing a press conference, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that President Zardari and his policies were responsible for the load shedding, not PML-N.
“PML-N has never quashed any project regarding electricity, but only expensive projects were reviewed,” Shahbaz told reporters, holding the former PPP government responsible for prevailing electricity crisis in the country.
He pointed that theft of electricity worth 300 billion rupees was taking place in Pakistan annually and criticized the former PPP-led government for the crisis.
