The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) authorities on Friday said that they were ready to conduct e-voting for the upcoming polls.
NADRA sources added that software for the purpose would be tested on May 2 and permission had been taken from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Britain.
However, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) maintained that overseas Pakistanis would not be able to vote in the upcoming general elections, citing need for proper legislation before the facility may be offered.
