Measles continue to claim lives as another child died of the epidemic on Thursday raising the overall death toll in Punjab to 64.
According to details, a minor identified as Ali Raza who was undergoing treatment at Mayo Hospital expired on Thursday morning.
It should be mentioned that hundreds of children are admitted to different public hospitals where vaccination is being provided to the victims by the government.
However, despite tall claims of caretaker provincial government and health authorities the spread of the epidemic could not be brought under control.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to launch nationwide vaccination in June against measles.
