Girl dies after being splashed with scalding water

Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi on Friday took notice of an incident where a six-year-old girl died of burns after boiling hot water was thrown on her last night.

According to details, a starving family went to a wedding dinner in Rajana area of Toba Tek Singh and begged for a meal.

However, a waiter at the party instead of giving them some food threw boiling hot water on the gypsy family due to which two women and six-year-old Kolsum received severe burns.

The child breathed her last this morning. Area police collected evidence from the scene but so far it has not registered any case.

Sethi, while taking notice of the incident, asked DPO of the area to submit a report.
