The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday suspended Islamabad High Court’s orders on taking punitive action against Islamabad inspector general of police (IG) over the escape of former president general (r) Pervez Musharraf.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court heard an application filed by Islamabad IG Bin Amin against the IHC’s orders.
The counsel of the IG pleaded that hearing was still continuing at the high court therefore a stay order be granted.
After hearing the arguments, the Supreme Court suspended the orders of the high court.
