Pakistan’s overall liquid foreign exchange reserves rose slightly, to $11.938 billion in a week from $11.690 billion last week, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday. In a statement, the central bank said reserves held by the bank stood at $6.817 billion compared with $6.640 billion a week earlier while reserves held by commercial banks stood at $5.121 billion in the week ending April 19, 2013 compared to $5.050 billion a week earlier.
