A mother of three children committed suicide in Qila Gujjar Singh Police precincts on Wednesday.
Najma, 35, lived at her mother’s place near Bibi Pak Daman with her children and husband, Javed, a daily wager. Najma was perturbed over her mother for not granting her a share of the property they resided at and she inherited. She had previously had a brawl with her mother over the same issue. Najma’s mother was adamant at not giving her the share and wanted her out of the house.
Disturbed over the issue, she locked herself up in a room, climbed up a washing machine and hung herself up with a fan.
The police later shifted the body to a hospital for a post mortem.
