Ambassadors (designate) of Tajikistan, Philippines, Morocco, Slovak Republic, Malawi, Chile and the High Commissioner (designate) of South Africa on Wednesday presented their credentials to President Asif Zardari at a special ceremony held at Governor House.
The ambassadors and high commissioner, after presenting their credentials separately, called on the president and discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest with him.
President Zardari, while felicitating the newly appointed ambassadors, expressed the hope that they would work towards further strengthening existing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan.
The envoys who presented their credentials included high commissioner designate of South Africa Mpendulo Kumalo, ambassador designate of Tajikistan Sherali Jononov, junior ambassador designate of Philippines Domingo D. Lucenario, ambassador designate of Morocco Mohamed Mustapha Salahdine, ambassador designate of Slovak Republic(non-resident) Jan Bory, ambassador designate of Malawi (non-resident) Younas Abdul Karim and, ambassador designate of Chile (non-resident) Jean Paul Tarud.
