Peshawar blast injures three

A bomb blast on Wednesday in Peshawar’s Sarki Gate area has left three people, including a woman injured.

According to police sources, explosive material was placed inside the house of one Amjab, a contractor, which exploded causing injuries to the inmates of the house on Wednesday morning. The nature or intensity of the blast could not be ascertained as yet.

Later, police cordoned off the area and started an investigation into the attack as the injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital.

Meanwhile, two remotely detonated roadside bombs exploded in Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday morning. The bombs exploded when convoys of an election candidate from PK-68 constituency, Israrullah Khan Gandapur, was passing through the area. No loss of life was reported.
