New Islamabad chief commissioner takes charge

Jawad Paul assumed charge as the Islamabad chief commissioner on Wednesday.

Paul is grade-20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Services. He began his career in the District Management Group in 1996 and has served in Balochistan for some time. He has done electrical engineering, MBA and LLM. He has served in the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration from 1998 to 2001 and has experience in working as the assistant commissioner (AC) City, AC Saddar and AC Rural in Islamabad during his time.
