At least 13 people were injured in a bomb blast near a hospital in the Satellite Town of Quetta on Wednesday.
The blast victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police reached the hospital to gather information from the injured to help with the investigation.
Senior police official Fayaz Sumbal said the target of the attack was not yet clear as the injured were mainly bystanders.
There was also no immediate claim of responsibility.
On April 23, Quetta became the target for four similar blasts injuring and taking the lives of many. The first blast was reported in Jinnah Town, the second one in the Gawalmandi area and the third blast in Mali Bagh. The fourth blast which took place on Pir Mohammad Road was followed by heavy firing.
Sixth blast
Another blast was reported on Saryab road in Quetta, making it the sixth blast to take place in the last 14 hours.
One car was damaged due to the intensity of the blast.
There were no reports of injuries or casualties.
