PM reshuffles federal secretaries, replaces Islamabad chief commissioner

Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso on Tuesday approved the transfers and postings of federal secretaries and senior officers including the Islamabad chief commissioner.

According to a spokesman of the Prime Minister’s House, the prime minister approved the transfer of Shahid Rashid, currently posted as information technology secretary to the same position in the Ministry of Industries after the retirement of Zafar Mehmood.

Zafar Qadir, currently OSD, was posted as the secretary of the Ministry of Information Technology. Abdul Khaliq, also an OSD, was posted as finance special secretary.

Fazal Abbas Maken, currently the additional secretary at the PM’s Secretariat was transferred and posted as religious affairs additional secretary.

Hassan Raza Zafar, additional secretary at the PM’s was posted as commerce additional secretary.

Moreover, Islamabad Chief Commissioner Tariq Peerzada was transferred and posted as finance additional secretary. Peerzada was replaced by Jawad Paul, currently posted at the NIPPS Lahore.

Muhammad Asif Sheikh, currently posted in the Establishment Division was posted EAD additional secretary.

  1. No constructive and public benefits jobs by caretaker government.Why are sleeping on the issue of LOAD SHEDDING? Have they no symphaties for public?
