Reviewing security plans before the upcoming general elections, the Interior Ministry on Tuesday ordered the cancellations of permits of all weapons across the country.
According to news reports, after the ministry’s orders, “no one will be allowed to carry weapons outside his/her place, while the candidates will also need to get prior permission from the authorities to have personal security guards”.
The ministry directed the inspectors general of all provinces to take action against people carrying weapons.
