Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday directed party leaders to take action against all PPP leaders who are contesting elections independently against candidates holding party tickets.
Addressing party workers via a video message, Bilawal said that that a show cause notice should be issued to all leaders who have refused to withdraw the nomination papers in favour of party ticket holders.
He took notice of the fact that estranged PPP leaders were contesting elections independently against PPP ticket holders in various constituencies.
Bilawal said efforts should be made to persuade estranged PPP leaders to withdraw their nomination papers in favour of PPP ticket holders.
