Afghan officials have accused Pakistan of shelling the eastern Kunar province once again on Monday, but said no civilian casualties were caused.
The attack started on Monday with at least 24 missiles landing in Dangam District, Kunar Governor Sayed Fazlullah Wahidi said on Tuesday.
“We confirm that the Pakistan military have launched several missiles into Dangam District,” he said.
Terrorists launch attacks inside Pakistan from Kunar province as most of the terrorists, including Maulvi Fazlullah, are reportedly hiding in the province after they fled from Swat in the wake of military operation.
