Several people were injured in a cracker blast that targeted an office of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Balochistan’s Sibi town on Tuesday, officials said.
Unidentified motorcyclists lobbed a hand grenade at the office injuring several people and partially damaging the building.
Police personnel deployed at the building fired shots at the assailants, but they managed to escape unharmed.
A large contingent of Frontier Corps personnel reached the site and the injured were immediately taken to SibiDistrictHospital.
Investigations into the attack were underway.
