Fazlur Rehman, chief of his own faction of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), on Sunday said politicians talking about Naya Pakistan were the slaves of America and other Western countries.
Talking to a public gathering at the residence of former city nazim Muhammad Zahid Arain in Tank city, the cleric said the destiny of Pakistan could only be changed through implementation of Shariah.
The JUI-F candidate for PK-69 (Tank) Mahmood Bhitani, Dr Tahir Javed, Mufti Allah Noor, Ameer Jaan, Muhammad Abbas were also present.
Fazl, candidate from NA-25 (Tank), hoped that his party would clean sweep in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will form provincial government. He said, “In fact those who talk about Naya Pakistan are the slaves of America and other Western countries who act like puppets upon the orders of Western countries.”
Fazl hoped that the JUI-F would form next government in KP.
Zahid announced to join the JUI-F along with his relatives and friends and assured the cleric of their support.
Earlier, Fazl also addressed public gatherings in village Dabara, Umar Adda and Norang.
