Two unidentified gunmen killed two people including one policeman outside Hyderabad Central Jail, a private news channel reported on Sunday.
According to police, two motorcyclists, one of whom had an AK-47, fired a quick burst at a police vehicle parked outside Hyderabad central jail killing a policeman and a passerby on the spot.
According to eye-witnesses, the gunmen wore helmets to cover their faces and made a clean getaway, leaving no trace behind. The firing of Kalashnikov rounds terrorised the entire neighborhood.
Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
